FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA) BUILDING
Dallas, TX

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The FAA Building is an approximately 380,000 gross SF Class “A”, 6-story office that meets ISC Facility Security Level III. The FAA Building is situated on 45 acres and includes: a perimeter fence and gatehouse, a full service cafeteria, physical separation from the remainder of the building, HVAC isolation for the mail room and public lobby, a conference center of approximately 13,000 SF, ground mounted antennas, and a site plan for a helipad. The FAA building was designed to achieve LEED Gold status. Construction cost: $44M.


SPARKMAN CENTER FOR MISSILE EXCELLENCE
Huntsville, AL

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. This 683,000 SF complex consists of 6 3-story buildings, and a 5-story command center. It includes a 50,000 SF computer center, a 50,000 SF training center with over 50 classrooms and labs, secure video teleconferencing area, a 700-seat auditorium, a 750-seat cafeteria, central courtyard, and approximately 350,000 SF of open office, workstation area. Several areas have intrusion detection, red/black shielding and physical security. The Sparkman Center for Missile Excellence had a construction value of $80M.


INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE (IRS) CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER
Chamblee, GA

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. This government building is used to handle service relationships. It is roughly 400,000 SF on a 30 acre site, and has a 600-seat cafeteria, 2,000 SF raised floor computer room, 600-seat auditorium, and childcare center and office support areas. TEC managed a series of analyses and conducted studies for many architectural schemes to be used in a 400,000 SF addition to this facility. Engineers evaluated energy conservation measures and established an energy budget.


FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION (FBI) BUILDING
Atlanta, GA

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The FBI Field Office is a 4-story, 135,000 SF Class “A” office building that includes a 2-story main lobby, open and closed offices, executive conference rooms, training rooms, computer rooms, fitness center, vehicle maintenance annex, and support spaces.


GEORGIA SUPREME COURT BUILDING
Atlanta, GA

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided for the renovation of the State of Georgia Judicial Building. The State of Georgia Supreme Court Building project renovated approximately 23,800 SF on 3-stories in the state office complex. The project was conducted in 5 phases and included a new law library, renovation of judge’s chambers and clerk’s office, new offices for the State Court of Appeals and a new Department of Law Computer Center.


FULTON COUNTY JUSTICE CENTER
Atlanta, GA

Energy Study Services were provided. This energy survey investigated the HVAC systems in the 210,000 SF Court and 110,000 SF Administration Building. Various methods were proposed to improve comfort while achieving cost savings, including 13 energy saving opportunities with construction cost of $844,510 and energy cost savings of $176,741 for a payback of 4.8 years.


VETERAN AFFAIRS (VA) SERVICES OFFICE
Atlanta, GA

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. The Veteran Affairs Services office is an 187,000 SF, 4-story office building. This office is comprised of Veterans Service Center, Education, Loan Guaranty and Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment business lines.


JACKSON CITY HALL
Jackson, MS

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided for the renovation of the Jackson City Hall building. The Jackson City Hall included an existing administrative building that was enlarged, modernized and historically preserved. Work included HVAC upgrades, plumbing, fire protection and electrical design.


MARIETTA CITY HALL
Marietta, GA

MEP/FP Engineering Services were provided. This 50,000 SF facility received a renovation and a later 15,000 SF addition, totaling approximately $5 million in construction costs. The project included offices for public officials, court facilities/judges’ chambers, and offices for city departments.


CHRISTOPHE HARBOUR CUSTOMS HOUSE
St. Kitts, Federation of St. Christopher & Nevis, The Leeward Islands, The Lesser Antilles

MEP/FP Engineering Design Services were provided to OBMI for the Christophe Harbour Customs House. The Christophe Harbour Customs House is a 13,100 SF, 5-story waterfront building including: Custom and Immigration office for the Customs, Immigration and Maritime Affairs officials and also boasts a crew lounge for visiting yachts, 200 SF pier gatehouse, the marina office, a fitness center, and a real estate’s sales gallery./span>


BIBB COUNTY
Macon, GA

Energy Study and Energy Engineering Analysis Services were provided. This project involved collection of data at 12 county-owned buildings for the purpose of reducing energy consumption. These buildings ranged in size from 5,000 SF to 300,000 SF and varied in age from 5 years to over 100 years. The final Summary of Recommendations report identified more than $55,000 in annual savings for utility service, with an average payback of about 8 years.


ANTIGUA & BARBUDA DEPARTMENT OF MARINE SERVICES (ADOMS) BUILDING
St. John’s, Antigua, The Leeward Islands, The Lesser Antilles

MEP/FP Engineering and Technology Infrastructure Design Services were provided to OBMI and the Antigua & Barbuda Department of Marine Services for the ADOMS building. The ADOMS building is a 34,000 SF, 4-story office with public space, tenant/office space, and conference fit-out. The breakdown of space includes: 6,900 SF of public/service spaces throughout all levels, 3,400 SF of tenant space, 4,000 SF of parking on the basement level, 1,000 SF cistern on the basement level, 5,000 SF of conference space on ground level, 7,500 SF of tenant/office space on 1st level, and 7,200 SF of tenant/office space on 2nd level. The site totals 2 acres and includes: roadways and parking lots, Security Shack, and a Sewage Treatment Plant.
